What is the dress code?
Neyla is an experience that is both hospitable, elegant and comfortable, where guests mingle with friends and family, meet and greet with neighbors and acquaintances, and celebrations are had. The atmosphere is both friendly and lively, with guests engaging in conversation, celebrating special occasions, and savoring the rich flavors of Mediterranean cuisine. While business casual is most commonly the attire of preference amongst guests, we welcome you in what you find most fitting and comfortable for the occasion in which you are joining us.

Joining us on Saturday night? The night livens up and the celebration begins at 9:30pm with belly dancing. A special occasion is not warranted, and all are invited!

What is parking like & is Valet available?
Street Parking and Garage Parking are available when Valet is not offered, or for those opting not to use the Valet. Most street parking in the area is Metered Parking. Kindly note that it is suggested all street signs are carefully read prior to parking in Metered or other street parking, as restrictions may be enforced during certain times of day/night and on weekends. Parking Garages are located in the vicinity and easily accessible. For your convenience, please see the map below for exact locations of parking garages in the area. Hours of operation and parking rates vary.

Valet services are provided for your convenience Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights, starting at 5:00 PM.

What is the most convenient method Public Transportation available to Neyla?
Neyla is conveniently located just off Wisconsin Avenue and N Streets in Georgetown (across the street from Paolo’s Ristorante). Although there is not a metro connection in Georgetown, we are easily accessible via the Circulator Bus, an easy commute from various parts of the city, or from the Foggy Bottom Metro stop. Those joining us by way of Metro from Rosslyn may get to Georgetown on the Georgetown Blue Bus.

Is your Chef able to accommodate Dietary Restrictions?
We strive to ensure that all guests are able to dine with us, regardless of their dietary restrictions. We request that you let us know upon making your reservation of any allergies and/or other restrictions you may have so that we may inform the Chef and do our very best to accommodate them. Should you or your guests have any severe allergies or restrictions, we would highly recommend your taking extreme caution in dining in our establishment, as we do prepare seafood, products with nuts, and other foods that are common allergens, and therefore cannot guarantee traces may not be present. Please let your server know of all allergies and dietary restrictions when dining with us.

Is there a Corkage Fee?
Neyla is proud of the wine list we have spent countless hours perfecting to compliment our cuisine, and therefore hesitate in allowing other wines into our restaurant. We will do our best to accommodate any special requests you may have regarding the wine list, and if we are unable to provide a specific wine you request, you may bring in the bottles. Neyla has a $20.00 Corkage Fee per bottle. Due to local liquor laws, no other beverages may be brought into Neyla and only bottles that subscribe to the “Wine Doggy Bag” laws may leave the premises.

Are children welcome at Neyla?
Why of course! However it should be noted that we do not have a kids menu and all children will be accommodated from the regular menu. We encourage you to dine early, as Neyla is a very vibrant and exciting restaurant and some children may not enjoy the excitement. We will do our very best to accommodate requests for children and work to ensure their experience with us is memorable.

Do you accommodate Large Parties, Private Parties or Buyouts?
Neyla most certainly accommodates large groups, private parties and buyouts. Our Tent Lounge is perfect for cocktail receptions and seated dinners, formal and informal. More casual, semi-private events may be held in the Sky Room, and parties of up to 120 guests may be accommodated in the main dining room.

When do you offer Belly Dancing?
The Belly Dancer makes an appearance every Saturday night around 9:30 PM. The restaurant is made lively for all to enjoy. Please let us know in advance if you will be celebrating a special occasion with us on a particular Saturday night. We’ll make sure you she pays you and your guests a visit!
